It can be very difficult to start something new when it can feel that others have got there first. I have twitter and facebook accounts and have had plenty of reason to worry about finding the time to start putting up links and keeping people updated with my photography and even my life in general. Still, it appears to me that blogging could well be a significantly more appealing process than these and it has the flexibility to be a little more creative. Want to add a few pictures? No problem. Want to add a few more words? No problem. Perhaps it will afford me the pleasure of looking back in a few years and seeing a little progress.

So I guess the real question is... who's listening?
